Quizz Swanigan was eliminated from NBC’s The Voice on Tuesday, April 18, when he failed to receive enough votes to move on to the next round of the popular singing contest.
Swanigan, the teenage son of OOIDA Member Courtney Swanigan, was among the final 20 competitors before being eliminated. The young singer performed his rendition of “My Girl” by the Temptations during Tuesday’s live playoffs. He was the youngest performer in the competition.
The responses were overwhelmingly positive with more than 2,600 “thumbs up” and less than 250 “thumbs down.”
Swanigan also acts, appearing on The Player with Wesley Snipes in 2015, and on Fuller House in 2016.
He lives with his parents, Courtney and Natalya, in California. Courtney Swanigan operates Ready Roar Trucking.
